United States President Donald Trump has launched a fresh attack on ABC after the network decided to reinstate Jimmy Kimmel Live! just days after suspending the late-night talk show.
Taking to Truth Social, Trump accused ABC of bias, writing, “The White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled! Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his ‘talent’ was never there.” He further alleged that the network has consistently favored Democrats and said he “can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back.”
Trump also revived his long-standing feud with the broadcaster, claiming that ABC once paid him $16 million to settle a past dispute and warning that he may challenge the network again.
The controversy began after ABC suspended the program last week following Kimmel’s remarks about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. On Monday, ABC’s parent company, Walt Disney, announced that the show would return, stating the decision came after “thoughtful conversations” with Kimmel.
The reinstatement has once again put the late-night host at the center of a political storm, with Trump making it clear he intends to keep the fight alive.
