IRM Energy shares witnessed a sharp surge in early trade on Thursday, climbing more than 16% to touch an intraday high of ₹379 on the NSE. The rally came amid strong buying interest, with trading volumes spiking significantly as investors rushed to accumulate the stock.
The stock opened at ₹338, higher than its previous close of ₹328.60, and quickly gained momentum. So far, over 95.7 lakh shares have changed hands, reflecting heightened activity compared to average volumes. On the downside, the stock hit a day’s low of ₹336.70.
In the past 52 weeks, IRM Energy has traded between ₹237 on the lower end and ₹478 on the higher side.
IRM Energy shares were up 15.54% at ₹381.40 apiece around 10.14 am. It has jumped 3.98% this year, so far.
