Tilaknagar Industries Ltd (TI) shares are in focus after the company announced that the Supreme Court of India upheld a Bombay High Court order in its favour, securing exclusive rights to manufacture and market alcoholic beverages under the Mansion House and Savoy Club brands .
On September 16, 2025, the apex court dismissed Special Leave Petitions (SLPs) filed by Herman Jansen Beverages Nederland B.V. and Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd. (ABD), which had challenged the Bombay High Court’s July 16, 2025 ruling. As a result, TI continues to exclusively market the two brands across India, while UTO/ABD remain restrained by injunction from using or launching them .
The Supreme Court also directed that the trial of the ongoing suit and counterclaim between the parties be concluded within six months. The ruling affirms TI’s ownership and proprietary rights until the disposal of the case .
This legal victory ensures uninterrupted usage and sales of Mansion House and Savoy Club by Tilaknagar Industries, safeguarding a key part of its brand portfolio.
