Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended warm wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, praising his role in enhancing ties between the two nations.
In a letter addressed to Modi on Wednesday, Putin said, “You are making a great personal contribution to strengthening the special privileged strategic partnership between our countries, to developing mutually beneficial Russian-Indian cooperation in various areas.”
He further highlighted that Moscow and New Delhi will continue their “constructive dialogue and joint work” to address both bilateral matters and broader global challenges.
The remarks underline Russia’s emphasis on its long-standing strategic partnership with India, which spans defence, energy, trade, and geopolitical cooperation.
