HCLSoftware, the enterprise software division of HCLTech, has officially launched HCL Unica+ in India, an AI-first marketing technology (MarTech) platform designed to serve what it calls the “Intelligence Economy.” The announcement was made at the ET MarTech+ Summit & Awards 2025.

The platform aims to help Indian businesses deliver hyper-personalized and data-driven marketing at scale. With over 800 million internet users in the country, HCL Unica+ is positioned to address the challenge of relevance across India’s diverse, multilingual digital landscape.

Rajesh Iyer, Executive Vice President & Portfolio General Manager at HCLSoftware, said the platform is “not just about reaching customers but about leveraging context to get it right every time.” He added that the solution is a force multiplier as enterprises move beyond the “attention economy” into the intelligence era.

The system is already live with one of India’s leading financial institutions, managing over 500 million customer accounts across 1.4 billion potential touchpoints in 28 languages. According to the company, this proves the scalability and precision of the platform.

India’s MarTech industry is projected to reach nearly $94 billion by 2030, and HCL Unica+ is being marketed as a solution that brings AI-driven precision, personalization, and performance to the forefront.

Rajiv Shesh, Chief Revenue Officer at HCLSoftware, emphasized that “in today’s market, it’s not just about volume, it’s about precision,” noting that the platform is built to help marketers anticipate customer needs and foster trust.

The offering embeds Agentic AI directly into marketing workflows, enabling real-time decision-making and precision targeting. Industry partners such as Xerago highlighted the platform’s ability to drive rapid ROI, enhance agility, and deliver AI-driven growth responsibly.

HCL Unica+ comes at a time when global enterprises are investing heavily in contextual, AI-powered customer engagement strategies. With the Indian digital economy growing rapidly, the launch underscores HCLTech’s focus on expanding its software portfolio within the country.
