Ola Electric, India’s largest pure-play EV manufacturer, announced on Tuesday that it has achieved the landmark production milestone of one million vehicles at its Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
To commemorate the milestone, the company rolled out a special edition Roadster X+ in midnight blue with sporty red accents on the dual-tone seat, rims, and battery pack. Ola said the badges are crafted from recycled copper waste, reflecting its design philosophy of recyclability and sustainability.
Ola Electric, which began production in 2021, reached the milestone in under four years, driven by strong demand for its S1 electric scooters and the recently launched Roadster X electric motorcycles.
At its annual Sankalp event, the company also unveiled its 4680 Bharat Cell integrated vehicles, starting with the S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) and Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh), priced at ₹1,69,999 and ₹1,89,999 respectively. Deliveries are expected to begin this Navratri. Ola further announced its entry into the sports scooter category with the S1 Pro Sport, available with 5.2kWh and 4kWh battery packs, with deliveries scheduled for January 2026.
A company spokesperson said, “This milestone is a celebration of every Indian who trusted us and believed in our mission. In four years, we’ve gone from an idea to becoming India’s EV two-wheeler leader. Our mission is clear: #EndICEAge and make India the global EV hub.”
