Insolation Energy Ltd. has announced that its subsidiaries — Insolation Green Infra Pvt. Ltd., MGVI Green Infra One Pvt. Ltd., and MGVI Green Infra Two Pvt. Ltd. — have been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) by Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL) for the development of 34 MW grid-connected solar power plants under the PM-KUSUM Component A scheme.

Project details

The scope of work covers design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and 25 years of operation and maintenance of the solar power projects. The plants will be connected to the grid through 11 KV lines, with integration into various 33/11 KV substations and supported by a remote monitoring system.

The order involves 17 sites in Rajasthan, with tariff rates finalized at:

  • ₹3.02 per unit for 1 site,

  • ₹2.70 per unit for 13 sites, and

  • ₹2.65 per unit for 3 sites.

The project is expected to be executed during FY 2026–27, with an estimated investment size of ₹113 crore (including GST).

Revenue generation

Once operational, the plants are projected to generate 5.44 crore electricity units annually, translating into yearly revenue of around ₹14.74 crore.

Strategic importance

This win strengthens Insolation Energy’s position in India’s renewable energy sector, particularly under the government’s flagship PM-KUSUM scheme, which aims to increase decentralized solar power capacity while promoting rural energy access.
