DCX Systems Limited has announced that it has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu during the TN Rising Investment Conclave held on September 11, 2025, at Hosur. The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.

The MoU will pave the way for setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for the company’s joint venture with Israel’s ELTA Systems Ltd and its group companies. The JV will focus on the production of advanced defence technologies including airborne maritime radar systems, fire control radar systems, and other radar solutions for airborne and land applications under the “Make in India” initiative.

The Tamil Nadu government’s nodal agency Guidance will extend infrastructural support and regulatory facilitation for the project. This will include assistance in obtaining permissions, registrations, approvals, clearances, and incentives in line with the Tamil Nadu Industrial Policy 2021 and the Tamil Nadu Aerospace and Defence Industrial Policy 2022.

The Hosur facility will form part of Tamil Nadu’s defence industrial corridor and is expected to enhance indigenous manufacturing capabilities while strengthening India’s self-reliance in defence technology.
