Rajesh Power Services Limited has announced that it has received significant orders from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL) for the conversion of existing 11/22kV HT networks to underground cables/MVCC under the SI scheme. The project will cover Valsad City, Valsad Rural, and Surat Rural regions under DGVCL.
The turnkey contract, valued at ₹143.11 Crore, will be executed over a period of 18 months. This order, received in the normal course of business, represents a substantial opportunity for Rajesh Power Services to strengthen its presence in the power infrastructure sector.
As per the company, there is no promoter or promoter group interest in DGVCL, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
This project aligns with Rajesh Power Services’ ongoing efforts to enhance urban power distribution networks and modernize electrical infrastructure in Gujarat. With a focus on underground HT networks, the company aims to improve reliability, reduce maintenance, and provide a safer and more efficient power supply.
