Valiant Communications Limited announced on Friday that it has received purchase orders worth Rs 84.7 crore from private system integrators for the supply of its communication, protection, and synchronization equipment. The end-users for these projects are Indian State Electricity Boards (SEBs).

Order details

The orders, valued at Rs 84.7 crore inclusive of taxes, are domestic in nature and will be executed within nine months. The scope of the contract is supply-only, with Valiant delivering advanced communication and protection systems tailored to the technical requirements of SEBs.

Company statement

Inder Mohan Sood, CEO of Valiant Communications, said the company’s equipment has gained recognition not only in India but also internationally, with successful installations since 2017 at a nuclear power plant in Switzerland. He added that Valiant’s indigenous manufacturing capabilities make it a natural partner for system integrators working on opportunities driven by government initiatives such as Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Growth momentum

The company noted that several other opportunities are at the finalisation stage, which it expects will support accelerated growth momentum in the near term.
