Despite Kobbie Mainoo asked for a loan exit from Manchester United, the club has ruled out the move as only few hours left in the window. Mainoo who isn’t getting much game time under Ruben Amorim, is se to be frustrated, and thus, decided to leave but the club wants their man to stay as they won’t get any replacement in this final minutes of the window. As Cunha and Mason Mount, both get injured in the recent game against Burnley, there is a possibility that Kobbie will be playing for most of the games.
Kobbie Mainoo’s hopes of securing a loan move away from Manchester United have been dashed, with the club ruling out his departure just hours before the transfer window closes.
The young midfielder has struggled for regular game time under new manager Ruben Amorim and had expressed his desire to leave temporarily in search of minutes. However, United have blocked the move, citing a lack of time to bring in a replacement.
The decision comes in the wake of fresh injury setbacks to Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount, both of whom picked up knocks in the recent clash against Burnley. Their absence has left United short in midfield and attack, increasing the likelihood that Mainoo will feature more prominently in the coming weeks.
