TVS Motor Company has posted an impressive performance in August 2025, recording total sales of 509,536 units, marking a 30% growth compared to 391,588 units in August 2024. The company’s consistent focus on product innovation and expanding its domestic and international reach has contributed to this remarkable growth.
Two-Wheeler Sales
Total two-wheeler sales grew 30%, rising from 378,841 units in August 2024 to 490,788 units in August 2025. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 28%, from 289,073 units to 368,862 units. Motorcycles saw a 30% growth, with sales moving from 170,486 units to 221,870 units, while scooters grew 36%, from 163,629 units to 222,296 units.
Electric Vehicles
EV sales reached 25,138 units in August 2025, slightly higher than 24,779 units in August 2024. The company noted that magnet availability remains a challenge in the short to medium term.
International Sales
Total exports grew 35%, from 99,976 units in August 2024 to 135,367 units in August 2025. Two-wheeler exports rose 36%, from 89,768 units to 121,926 units.
Three-Wheeler Sales
Three-wheeler sales increased 47%, from 12,747 units in August 2024 to 18,748 units in August 2025.
With strong growth across motorcycles, scooters, EVs, and exports, TVS Motor continues to solidify its position as one of India’s leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturers.
