Brighton and Chelsea have agreed a deal for the talented man named Facundo Buonanotte. Chelsea has signed the player on loan until 2026 (the season ends). Buy option clause is not included in this deal but Chelsea have a right to match in case other club make bids for the player.

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign talented Argentine midfielder Facundo Buonanotte on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The 19-year-old playmaker, regarded as one of Brighton’s brightest prospects, will join the Blues without a buy option clause in the deal. However, Chelsea have secured a right to match any future bids should another club move for the player after his loan spell.

Buonanotte, known for his creativity, technical ability, and versatility in attacking roles, will look to gain valuable experience at Stamford Bridge under Chelsea’s evolving project. The move provides Mauricio Pochettino’s side with another young attacking option while allowing Brighton to monitor his development in a highly competitive environment.

While Chelsea cannot trigger a permanent deal directly, the inclusion of the matching rights ensures they remain in the race if Buonanotte’s performances attract wider attention in the future.
