The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) held Investor Awareness Programs in Pune to educate students and faculty on the importance of financial literacy and responsible investing.
The sessions took place at D Y Patil ASC, Akurdi, where participants were introduced to basic concepts of the securities market, the role of depositories, and safe investment practices. Experts conducted the sessions in Marathi, using simple language and practical examples to make the content engaging and easy to understand.
“Through such initiatives, CDSL IPF remains committed to spreading financial awareness through similar programs across various regions in the country,” the organisation said.
In FY 2024-25, CDSL IPF conducted 2,526 Investor Awareness Programs across 34 states and union territories, covering 513 districts and reaching more than 1.47 lakh participants in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.
