On 14th October, Sidharth Shukla‘s fans posted warm birthday wishes on social media as it was the actor’s late father, Ashok Shukla’s birth anniversary. Currently Sidharth is locked inside the Bigg Boss 14 house and in Thursday’s episode viewers witnessed an emotional side of him. Realising it was his father’s birthday he was seen talking with Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan about his childhood memories with his dad.
Sidharth shared a cute moment as he spoke about how once he was getting late to go to school, and he had a heavy bag on his shoulder, and his father came to drop him till the school bus. Since they were getting late, his father took the bag and ran towards the bus, and Sidharth as a child ran behind him. The actor said that he was awestruck seeing his father’s hair bounce as he ran, exactly like a hero.
The senior further speaks, that his father had a lung disease and at that time he was a small-time model and that his career hadn’t kick-started well. Talking about his father’s crazy will and how strong hearted he was, Sidharth said that the disease was such that doctors said he wouldn’t live more than two years but he pushed himself for seven years because he wanted to see his son to get stable in life, while expressing this Sid gets emotional.
The actor further told that his elder sister was married by that time, and also expressed his pain of not being able to do something great for his father. He feels that today when he has everything his father isn’t around to cherish it and hence nothing makes sense. Sidharth said a beautiful line, that lucky are those, who have both their parents, and especially if they are all hale and hearty. Gauahar and Hina couldn’t agree more to it as even they both got a little emotional.
We will rarely see Sidharth Shukla opening up on his personal life or talk about his family. However, everyone knows how much he loves his mother as in previous season of Bigg Boss the actor was seen talking on how close he is with his mom, and also feels that she is the reason he has reached to such heights in career.
