Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Oriental Foundry Private Limited (OFPL), has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. The order, valued at around ₹60 crore, is for the manufacture and supply of Constant Side Bearers (CCSB) for Broad Gauge (BG) Bogie Wagons.
As per the LoA terms, OFPL has already submitted the required bank guarantee, completing an important condition precedent. The formal purchase order from the Railways is expected to follow in due course.
The company stated that a detailed disclosure, including the final contract value and key terms, will be shared once the formal order is received.
This development is seen as a significant milestone for Oriental Rail, reinforcing its strong presence in the railway equipment manufacturing segment and its ongoing partnership with Indian Railways.
