Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited announced on Thursday, August 21, that it has secured a significant order worth ₹103.16 crore from Leap Grain Rail Logistics Private Limited. The order, formalized through a supply agreement dated the same day, involves the manufacturing and delivery of BCBFG wagons along with BVCM brake vans.

According to the company’s exchange filing, the order is to be executed within a period of 10 months. Texmaco clarified that the award was made by a domestic entity and does not fall under the ambit of related-party transactions. The promoters or group companies of Texmaco have no interest in Leap Grain Rail Logistics, ensuring that the transaction is strictly on an arm’s length basis.

This fresh order comes at a time when demand for railway wagons in India is picking up, driven by logistics growth, increased coal transportation, and expansion of private freight operators. For Texmaco, which is among the leading manufacturers of railway freight cars and wagons, the contract further strengthens its order book.

The supply of BCBFG wagons and brake vans is expected to support Leap Grain Rail Logistics in expanding its operational capabilities in freight movement. Industry experts note that such contracts not only boost Texmaco’s revenues but also underline the company’s positioning as a key partner in India’s rail infrastructure growth.
