Despite this, the deal looks bit difficult.
Manchester United have suddenly become very active in the summer transfer window, holding talks with multiple clubs as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
After submitting a massive €85 million bid for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško, the Red Devils have now turned their attention to Brighton & Hove Albion’s talented midfielder Carlos Baleba. The 20-year-old is highly rated at Brighton, and the club are reluctant to let him go after an impressive debut Premier League season.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Baleba hasn’t ruled out a move and is open to the idea of joining United. While the player’s interest offers some hope for the Old Trafford side, negotiations with Brighton are expected to be difficult, given the club’s stance.
