Everton have made an ambitious move in the summer transfer window by approaching Manchester City winger Jack Grealish for a potential loan deal, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The Toffees are reportedly keen to sign the experienced on a straight loan that would run until June 2026.

While talks are still at an early stage, Everton are said to be willing to cover part of Grealish’s wages to facilitate the deal. However, no agreement has been reached yet.

Grealish, who joined Manchester City from Aston Villa in a £100 million deal in 2021, has struggled with form and injuries in recent seasons and could be open to a move for more regular playing time.

Romano also reports that a few other clubs have made enquiries about the England international, indicating that there could be competition for his signature if City decide to let him leave.
