Everton is close to sign Chelsea’s midfielder Dewsbury-Hall on a permanent deal as the Blues are preparing for few exits before the window ends. Chelsea have got few midfielder that doesn’t fit into Maresca’s plan, and thus, they are planning to offload them.
Everton are reportedly closing in on a permanent deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, as the Blues prepare for a few exits before the summer transfer window shuts. The experienced man who joined Chelsea from Leicester City could be on the move again amid tactical reshuffling under new manager Enzo Maresca.
Sources suggest that Dewsbury-Hall is not part of Maresca’s long-term plans at Stamford Bridge, despite having previously worked under the Italian at Leicester. With Chelsea’s midfield already stacked with options and a few players not fitting into the manager’s system, the club is actively looking to trim the squad.
Everton, meanwhile, are eager to bolster their midfield and view Dewsbury-Hall as a player who can add creativity and energy in the middle of the park. The Toffees have been monitoring the situation closely and are now confident of securing a deal before the transfer deadline.
