Bharti Airtel’s digital arm, Xtelify, unveiled two major digital initiatives on August 4, 2025 — a sovereign, telco-grade cloud platform named Airtel Cloud and an AI-powered software suite aimed at revolutionizing digital transformation for telecom operators globally.

The newly launched Airtel Cloud, built in India and hosted on sustainable data centres, is designed to handle up to 140 crore transactions per minute. It assures up to 40% cloud spend optimization for Indian businesses, with offerings across IaaS, PaaS, and secure connectivity — all managed by 300 certified cloud professionals.

Alongside, Xtelify also launched a suite of AI-based software solutions tailored for telcos, featuring components like Data Engine, Xtelify Work, and Xtelify IQ to improve customer experience, streamline operations, and boost productivity.

Xtelify has already partnered with three major players:

  • Singtel (Singapore) for AI-enabled field management via Xtelify Work
  • Globe Telecom (Philippines) for omni-channel customer service through Xtelify Serve
  • Airtel Africa across 14 countries for field operations and fraud protection

Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and MD of Bharti Airtel, said the initiative aims to help Indian enterprises and global telcos innovate faster and scale smarter, all while maintaining data sovereignty.
