Fans of Tires—Netflix’s offbeat, rough-around-the-edges workplace comedy—are already gearing up for another round of laughs, chaos, and awkward car shop drama. Season 2 left us hanging with Valley Forge Automotive Center in serious trouble, and now everyone’s asking the same thing: When is Season 3 coming?
When Can We Expect Tires Season 3?
If everything goes smoothly behind the scenes, Season 3 of Tires could hit Netflix sometime in 2026—possibly in the first half of the year. The show’s creators, Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever, managed to turn around Season 2 in about a year, so another quick release isn’t out of the question.
But here’s the catch: Shane Gillis is a busy guy. Between his stand-up gigs and growing presence in the comedy and film scene, the schedule could push the release toward mid-2026.
Who’s Coming Back for Season 3?
It’s hard to imagine Tires without its messy, dysfunctional cast of characters. Shane Gillis will be back as the hilariously blunt Shane. Steve Gerben should return as Will—the awkward but well-meaning manager who’s always one bad idea away from ruining everything. And of course, Thomas Haden Church is expected to reprise his role as Phil, Shane’s fed-up dad who now owns the shop (and possibly regrets it).
Chris O’Connor (Cal) and Kilah Fox (Kilah) are likely in the mix too—especially since Season 2 hinted at something romantic brewing between their characters. That subplot could give Season 3 a softer, more heartwarming edge… assuming it doesn’t all go sideways.
As for guest stars, Season 2 brought in some big names—Vince Vaughn, Jon Lovitz, Ron White—and while it’s not clear if they’ll return, the door’s definitely open. One wildcard is Kelly (played by Veronika Slowikowska), whose storyline with Shane ended on a pretty sour note. Whether she’s out for good or not remains to be seen.
What Could Happen in Season 3?
Season 2 ended with Valley Forge hanging by a thread. Will’s attempt to undercut the market by selling tires at cost totally backfired when their supplier, True Thread, cut ties. Revenues were tanking, and Will had to break it to Phil that the business might only have six months left.
But all isn’t lost—because by the finale, some new lifelines emerged. Will landed a new supplier, Shane scored a fleet account with Andiamo Auto Sales, and they were starting to strike deals with other dealers too. It’s a classic Tires move: just when it looks like everything’s about to crash, some half-baked plan might actually work.
Season 3 will probably explore whether those new deals can keep the shop alive—or if Shane and Will just find new, dumber ways to screw things up. The father-son tension between Phil and Shane will likely be front and center too. Phil came back around in Season 2, choosing not to sell the shop, so that relationship could deepen—or totally blow up.
And hey, don’t be surprised if Cal and Kilah’s awkward flirtation becomes a full-blown office romance. It could add some levity to all the stress, plus it gives us something sweet to root for in between all the yelling, tire deals, and bad decisions.
