Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a $30 billion Indian multinational known for its excellence in EPC projects, has announced significant wins for its Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical. The company has bagged large orders—ranging between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore—in both domestic and international markets.
Key Projects in India
In Andhra Pradesh, L&T has secured multiple contracts from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) for projects in Amaravati:
-
Andhra Pradesh Secretariat & HoD Offices: L&T will design and construct Towers 3 and 4, each comprising a basement, ground floor, and 39 upper floors. The contract also includes the construction of an amenities building.
-
21 Residential Towers: The scope includes complete civil and architectural works—RCC shell and core, electricals, plumbing, sanitary fixtures, firefighting, lifts, DG sets, HVAC systems, and landscaping.
In Mumbai, Maharashtra, L&T has also secured a contract from a reputed developer to build two luxury residential towers. These skyscrapers will feature a 1B+1G+5P+59 floors configuration, rising up to 200 metres in height, with RCC shell and core works as the main scope.
International Win in Oman
L&T’s B&F division in Oman has received a repeat order from a prestigious client in Muscat. The project involves the construction of three identical premium office towers (G+8 floors) built above a shared two-level basement, complete with a landscaped central plaza. Scope of work includes civil, MEP, internal finishes for common areas, and external landscaping.
