hares of Blue Jet Healthcare Limited slipped as much as 6.7% to ₹939.40 in Monday’s session even after the company reported robust Q1 FY26 results. The stock opened near its previous close of ₹1,006.80 but witnessed sharp selling towards midday, hitting a low of ₹922.40.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2025, the company posted stellar numbers:

  • Revenue from operations more than doubled to ₹354.76 crore from ₹162.90 crore in Q1 FY25, up 118% YoY.

  • Total income, including other income, rose to ₹363.01 crore from ₹171.61 crore.

  • EBITDA jumped 174% YoY to ₹121 crore, with margins improving to 34.11% versus 27.17% last year.

  • Net profit came in at ₹91.17 crore, surging 141% YoY from ₹37.77 crore.

These strong financials reflected improved operating efficiencies, higher sales, and better cost management.

So why is the stock falling despite the impressive results?

According to market analysts, the sharp decline is likely due to profit booking and a relatively weak sequential (QoQ) performance compared to Q4 FY25.

After a steady rally — with the stock recently touching a 52-week high of ₹1,027.80 — many investors appear to have locked in gains following the earnings announcement. Profit booking is common after a significant run-up in anticipation of a short-term correction, even when fundamentals remain strong.

In addition, while the company showed exceptional growth on a YoY basis, its sequential numbers from Q4 FY25 were lower. In the previous quarter, the company had posted higher EBITDA and net profit, and some investors may have been disappointed by the QoQ moderation despite the annual growth.
