Tech Mahindra Limited posted a strong Q1 FY26 performance, with notable year-on-year and sequential improvements in profitability for the quarter ended June 30, 2025.
The company reported a net profit attributable to owners of the company at ₹1,140.6 crore, up 34% YoY from ₹851.5 crore in Q1 FY25, though marginally lower 2.2% QoQ from ₹1,166.7 crore in Q4 FY25.
Revenue from operations came in at ₹13,351.2 crore, rising 2.7% YoY, and nearly flat sequentially from ₹13,384.0 crore.
Total income, including other income, stood at ₹13,569.5 crore versus ₹13,150.2 crore a year ago and ₹13,556.7 crore in the previous quarter.
EBIT (Earnings Before Interest & Tax) for the quarter stood at ₹1,477 crore, increasing 7.2% QoQ from ₹1,378 crore in Q4 FY25. The EBIT margin also improved to 11.06%, up from 10.3% QoQ.
Profit before tax (PBT) came in at ₹1,618.1 crore, rising 37% YoY from ₹1,178.1 crore and 10.5% QoQ from ₹1,464.2 crore.
Expenses stood at ₹11,951.9 crore, stable compared to ₹11,974.7 crore in Q1 FY25 and slightly down from ₹12,091.3 crore in Q4 FY25.
The results underline Tech Mahindra’s improved operational efficiency and profitability, with EBIT growth and margin expansion supporting the bottom line despite a muted topline sequentially.
