Tata Elxsi shares fell 4% in early trade after the company reported a lackluster set of numbers for the June quarter (Q1 FY26), weighed down by weak growth and margin pressure. As of 9:38 AM, the shares were trading 3.62% lower at Rs 5,915.50.
Net profit declined 21% sequentially to ₹144.36 crore, compared to ₹172.4 crore in the previous quarter. Revenue also took a hit, slipping 1.8% QoQ to ₹892 crore, down from ₹908.3 crore in Q4 FY25.
The operating performance reflected the overall softness. EBIT dropped 11.4% QoQ to ₹162 crore, and margins narrowed to 20.8% from 22.8% in the March quarter.
Tata Elxsi shares opened at ₹5,666.00 and touched an intraday high of ₹5,959.00, while the low stood at ₹5,660.00. The stock remains well below its 52-week high of ₹9,080.00 and is trading above its 52-week low of ₹4,700.00.
