Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has shut down rumours suggesting that Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli is set to join Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr this summer.
Multiple reports had claimed that Al Nassr had approached the Brazilian forward with the intention of luring him away from the Premier League. However, Romano clarified on social media that there has been “no contact at all” between Martinelli and the Saudi club.
Romano also stated that Al Nassr are currently focused on other transfer targets and have not pursued the Arsenal star. Moreover, the forward is reportedly not interested in the project offered by the Saudi outfit and remains committed to his future at the Emirates Stadium.
Martinelli, who has become a key part of Mikel Arteta’s plans, is eager to continue his development with Arsenal and help the team push for major honours in the upcoming season.
