The DLC Guide, an independent global rating system for fine-dining restaurants and luxury hotels, launched its Pune edition on Monday. Founded by entrepreneur Jimmy Mistry, the guide has previously released editions in cities including New York, London, Dubai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi.
The Pune launch event saw participation from key city officials including Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram, District Collector Jitendra Dudi, and PMRDA’s Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase. Business leaders and hospitality experts also attended the event.

The DLC Guide is modelled on internationally recognised systems like the Michelin and Forbes guides but operates without commercial influence, according to its organisers. It aims to spotlight culinary talent through a community-audited, standards-based approach.
Since its inception, the guide has featured over 50 restaurants globally, with auditing support from more than 40 industry experts.
