Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) reported a 13% year-on-year growth in tractor sales for June 2025. The company sold 51,769 units in the domestic market during the month, compared to 45,888 units sold in June 2024.
Including exports, total tractor sales stood at 53,392 units for June 2025, up from 47,319 units in the same month last year. Export volumes for the month reached 1,623 units, reflecting a 13% year-on-year increase.
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said the 13% domestic growth was driven by strong Rabi crop harvest cash flows, improved monsoon coverage, and government initiatives aimed at improving farmer income. He also noted that land preparation activities for the upcoming Kharif season are well underway.
For the year-to-date period till June 2025, Mahindra’s domestic tractor sales stood at 1,29,199 units, up 10% over the previous year. Total sales including exports for the same period rose 10% year-on-year to 1,34,089 units.
