In a tragic turn of events, the Air India flight AI171 crash in Ahmedabad has caused severe damage to the undergraduate (UG) hostel mess of BJ Medical College in Meghani Nagar. The aircraft, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, crashed shortly after takeoff, directly impacting the building that housed hundreds of MBBS students.
