Jack Grealish is expected to be left out of Man City’s squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. The player is expected to leave the club and are open to proposals from other sides. City believes he is better out rather than in as he isn’t getting much game time in the blue jersey. The summer transfer window is already opened and there are clubs expected to be coming for Grealish later on.
Jack Grealish is reportedly set to be left out of Manchester City’s squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, signalling a potential end to his time at the Etihad. The England international, who has struggled for consistent game time under Pep Guardiola, is expected to be on the move this summer, with City now open to listening to offers.
After joining the Premier League champions in a record-breaking £100 million deal in 2021, Grealish has endured a mixed spell in Manchester. While he played a key role in the club’s historic treble-winning season in 2022–23, the 28-year-old has found himself on the fringes more often than not in recent months.
With the summer transfer window now open, several clubs are expected to register interest in the former Aston Villa captain. Manchester City believe that allowing Grealish to leave is the right step, especially with limited minutes available for him in an already star-studded squad.
