Real Madrid secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Sevilla in their La Liga clash last night, narrowing the gap to league champions Barcelona to just four points.
Despite Sevilla being reduced to nine men during the match, Madrid struggled to make their numerical advantage count early on. The visitors defended resolutely, frustrating the home side for much of the game.
It wasn’t until the 75th minute that Kylian Mbappé finally broke the deadlock, netting his first goal of the night and easing the pressure on Carlo Ancelotti’s side. Jude Bellingham then sealed the win in the closing stages, scoring Madrid’s second to wrap up the three points.
While the result won’t impact the title race, with Barcelona already crowned champions, it was a morale-boosting performance for Los Blancos as they look to finish the season strongly.
