Hyundai Motor India Ltd has reported a 3.7% year-on-year decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,614.3 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. The profit stood at Rs 1,677 crore in the same period last year. The decline in profit came despite stable operational performance and higher revenue.
Revenue for the quarter rose 1.5% year-on-year to Rs 17,940 crore, compared to Rs 17,671 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s EBITDA stood at Rs 2,532.3 crore, marginally up 0.4% from Rs 2,521.7 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The EBITDA margin for the quarter was at 14.1%, slightly lower than 14.3% reported in the year-ago period.
The company’s Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 21 per share for the financial year, subject to shareholders’ approval.
