Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has announced that it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of a 94 MW AC (131.6 MW DC) solar power project under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0). The contract also includes operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

In a regulatory filing made after market hours on May 16, the company informed that the order, valued at approximately Rs 114.23 crore excluding taxes, has been awarded by a domestic renewable generation company. The project is scheduled for completion during the financial year 2025-26.

The scope of the order includes engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of the ground-mounted solar project along with comprehensive O&M responsibilities post-commissioning. The company clarified that the order does not fall under any related party transaction and there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity.

The project is expected to further strengthen Waaree Renewable Technologies’ position in the solar EPC segment, contributing to India’s renewable energy targets under government-backed schemes.

The company accepted the order on May 16 at 12:45 PM IST.
