Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. witnessed a 5% jump in its stock price following the release of robust Q4 FY25 results. As of 9:47 AM, the shares were trading 5.12% higher at Rs 344.15.

The company reported a 22.5% YoY rise in consolidated net profit to ₹169.5 crore, up from ₹138.4 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations increased by 5.1% to ₹2,060.6 crore, driven by solid demand across its product categories. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹2,076.57 crore.

Crompton’s operating performance impressed, with EBITDA surging 29.9% to ₹264.4 crore, compared to ₹203.6 crore a year earlier. This resulted in a notable EBITDA margin expansion to 12.8%, up from 10.4% in the same period last year, reflecting improved operational efficiency.

Total expenses rose moderately to ₹1,845.77 crore from ₹1,800.08 crore, while tax expenses increased to ₹59.06 crore versus ₹35.61 crore in Q4 FY24.

For the full fiscal year FY25, Crompton reported a net profit of ₹564.08 crore, a rise from ₹441.78 crore in FY24. Annual revenue also grew to ₹7,863.55 crore, compared to ₹7,312.81 crore in the previous year.
