Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited witnessed a 4% surge in its share price following the announcement of robust Q4 FY25 results. As of 3:08 PM, the shares were trading 3.52% higher at Rs 3,651.60.

The company reported a 27% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, at ₹73.63 crore, compared to ₹58.05 crore in Q4 FY24.

The strong quarterly performance was driven by a healthy rise in revenue and efficient cost management. Revenue from operations grew to ₹515.67 crore, up from ₹439.10 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income for the quarter also rose to ₹531.09 crore from ₹450.31 crore YoY.

Profit before tax (PBT) increased to ₹103.10 crore from ₹76.86 crore in Q4 FY24, while tax expenses rose to ₹29.47 crore from ₹18.81 crore YoY.

For the full financial year FY25, Garware Hi-Tech Films posted a net profit of ₹338.92 crore, marking an impressive 87% jump from ₹180.93 crore in FY24. Annual revenue from operations stood at ₹1,995.45 crore, compared to ₹1,581.65 crore last year. Total income rose to ₹2,071.64 crore, while PBT more than doubled to ₹447.51 crore from ₹239.93 crore YoY.
