The Indian stock market experienced a sharp decline on May 13, 2025, as both benchmark indices closed significantly lower amid broad-based selling pressure. The Nifty 50 dropped 346.35 points, or 1.39%, to settle at 24,578.35, while the BSE Sensex nosedived 1,281.68 points, or 1.55%, ending the session at 81,148.22.
