Comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina is back, and this time with a powerful message and a comedy tour across Europe, the UK, and Australia. After weeks of silence following the controversy around his YouTube show India’s Got Latent, Samay returned to Instagram with a cryptic post and a tour announcement, suggesting he’s ready to turn personal turmoil into stage laughter.
Sharing a shadowy black-and-white backstage video with a spotlighted stool, Samay subtly teased his comeback. The caption read simply: “❤️🔥☁️”, igniting curiosity and excitement in the comments, with fans writing, “Samay aa gaya hai” and “Samay is back 🔥🫂”.
Minutes later, Samay posted a bold statement on his Stories:
“The most testing time of my life makes for the best comedy. I’ll see you on tour ❤️🔥”, followed by a list of his new international show dates.
Samay’s European tour kicks off on June 5 in Köln, Germany, and continues through 15 cities including Frankfurt, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London and Manchester. In July, he moves on to Australia and New Zealand, with shows in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and more.
This announcement follows his heartfelt Instagram Story posted earlier this week during the India-Pakistan tensions. Samay had shared a personal account of his last call with his journalist father in Jammu, praising the Indian Armed Forces and expressing concern for families affected by the unrest.
The comedian was recently in the spotlight for the India’s Got Latent controversy, which led to police summons, public backlash, and canceled shows. Co-host Ranveer Allahbadia had apologised for the remarks made during the episode that sparked criticism, and Samay cooperated with authorities following complaints.
Now, it appears Samay is ready to reclaim his stage, channeling the chaos into comedy.
Tickets for his international tour are now live.
