In a significant move amid the ongoing military and diplomatic developments, the Director General Military Operations (DGMO) of the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force will jointly address the media at 6:30 PM today. The briefing is expected to outline the current status of Operation Sindoor, ceasefire violations by Pakistan, and India’s strategic and tactical response across all military dimensions.

IAF earlier scraps media speculation

Earlier in the day, the Indian Air Force (IAF) issued a strong statement confirming that it had “successfully executed its assigned tasks under Operation Sindoor with precision and professionalism.” Dismissing speculative media reports, the IAF clarified that the operation was still ongoing and had been conducted in a deliberate and discreet manner, strictly aligned with national objectives.

The IAF urged citizens and the media to refrain from speculation and the spread of unverified information, given the sensitive and evolving nature of the cross-border conflict. The IAF’s strike reportedly involved the use of air-launched precision weapons like BrahMos and SCALP missiles, targeting key Pakistani military infrastructure.
