A woman and her three children were killed on Wednesday morning after a tree fell on a tubewell room in Kharkhari Canal village, located in Delhi’s Dwarka area, during a spell of strong winds.
According to the Delhi Police, the victims have been identified as 26-year-old Jyoti and her three children. The family was inside the tubewell room built on their farmland when the incident occurred. Jyoti’s husband, Ajay, sustained minor injuries in the collapse.

The accident took place amid heavy winds sweeping parts of the city early in the day. Emergency services were rushed to the spot, but all four victims were declared dead upon retrieval.
Authorities are conducting further investigation into the matter, and efforts are underway to assess the structural vulnerability of similar rural constructions in the area.
