In a strategic move to strengthen its AI-first approach, Wipro Limited has launched its GitHub Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, as part of its broader ai360 initiative. The new CoE is set to serve as a centralized hub for GitHub-led innovation across the company’s global software engineering teams.
The initiative aims to accelerate AI-driven development by integrating GitHub Copilot, Microsoft M365, and other modern DevOps tools into Wipro’s development practices. The CoE is also expected to enhance collaboration, boost learning, and increase software delivery efficiency.

The CoE will be staffed by dedicated AI champions, trained to use GitHub’s ecosystem to drive scalable, AI-powered solutions. It will also host training sessions, hackathons, and meetups to nurture cross-team collaboration and technical skill-building.
