Tata Communications announced its consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025. The company posted a strong performance in the March quarter, with net profit more than doubling to Rs 1,040.51 crore in Q4 FY25, a 223.3% rise from Rs 321.52 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations during the quarter stood at Rs 5,990.35 crore, up 6.1% from Rs 5,645.07 crore in the December quarter and 13.5% from Rs 5,280.87 crore in Q4 FY24.
The net profit growth was supported by a substantial exceptional gain of Rs 577.79 crore, primarily driven by a gain on sale of a subsidiary amounting to Rs 311.20 crore. The company also reported a tax expense of Rs 175.99 crore in the quarter.
For the full financial year FY25, Tata Communications reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 23,238.89 crore, up from Rs 21,048.80 crore in FY24. Net profit for the year stood at Rs 1,836.78 crore, marking an impressive 89.4% increase over Rs 969.58 crore in FY24.
Dividend announcement
The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 25.00 per share (250%) on a face value of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The dividend, if approved at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, will be paid to eligible shareholders thereafter.
