Despite this, he is expected to come on from the bench and also Hansi Flick won’t be giving him much minutes as he doesn’t want to take any risk.
Barcelona have received a major boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Borussia Dortmund, as star forward Dani Olmo has returned from injury and is set to be included in the matchday squad.
The Catalan giants are already in a commanding position after thrashing Dortmund 4-0 in the first leg, effectively putting one foot into the semifinals. Olmo, who picked up a short-term injury recently, has recovered quicker than expected and looks ready to feature at the Signal Iduna Park.
However, head coach Hansi Flick is expected to ease him back into action, likely using him as a substitute and limiting his minutes to avoid any risk of aggravation. With the tie seemingly under control, Barcelona can afford to be cautious with their returning star.
