Shares of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited rose 1.68% to ₹143.08 in Wednesday’s trade after the company announced the signing of a new hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan, under a license agreement. The stock was trading higher from its previous close of ₹140.71, with a day’s range of ₹138.35 to ₹143.80.
According to a regulatory filing dated April 2, 2025, the new hotel property will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. The property is expected to open in FY27 and will feature 66 rooms along with amenities such as a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, and fitness center.
Strategically located just 500 meters from Jaipur International Airport and around 12 km from Jaipur Junction Railway Station, the hotel is aimed at catering to both business and leisure travelers.
Mr. Vilas Pawar, CEO of the Managed & Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, highlighted that this expansion aligns with the group’s commitment to Rajasthan, complementing its existing portfolio of 10 operational and 6 upcoming hotels in the state.
This signing boosts Lemon Tree’s network to over 110 operational properties and 100+ in the pipeline across India and select international markets including Dubai, Bhutan, and Nepal.
