Virginia Giuffre, known for her allegations against Prince Andrew, reportedly appeared in court for breaching a family violence restraining order just days before being involved in a bus accident. According to Daily Mail, the 41-year-old attended a hearing near Perth, Australia, where she currently resides. The Telegraph later reported that the alleged breach occurred in February, and she is expected to return to court on April 9. Giuffre is said to be estranged from her husband, Robert Giuffre, with whom she shares three children.
Her legal troubles surfaced amid news of her hospitalization following an accident involving a school bus. On March 30, Giuffre posted on Instagram, claiming she had “four days to live” after the crash. She described the incident, stating that a school bus, traveling at 110 km/h, collided with her vehicle as she was slowing for a turn. The post included a photo of her in a hospital bed with visible injuries.
However, local police provided a different account, confirming a “minor crash” between a car and a school bus on March 24, with no reported injuries at the scene. They noted that the bus driver filed a report the following day and estimated the car’s damage at approximately $2,000.
Giuffre’s family later released a statement explaining that she initially returned home but sought medical attention when her condition worsened. They also clarified that her social media post was meant for a private audience.
Giuffre previously gained global attention after accusing Prince Andrew of sexual misconduct, a case that was settled out of court in 2022.
