Gujarat Titans (GT) batter Sai Sudharsan has been in red-hot form in the IPL, racking up 469 runs across his last 6 innings, including today’s strong knock of 63 runs off 41 balls against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad in Match 9 of IPL 2025.

In today’s match, Sudharsan partnered with captain Shubman Gill to get Gujarat off to a flying start on a two-paced wicket. The pair laid a solid foundation before Hardik Pandya dismissed Gill for the fourth time in IPL history. Following that, Jos Buttler chipped in with a cameo but fell to Mujeeb Ur Rahman in the 14th over.
Sudharsan brought up yet another half-century and built a useful fourth-wicket stand with Sherfane Rutherford, before GT lost a flurry of wickets towards the back end of the innings. Despite the late collapse, GT posted a competitive total of 180, thanks largely to Sudharsan’s steady hand at the top.
For Mumbai, Hardik Pandya was the standout bowler, claiming key wickets and maintaining pressure with his economy. Trent Boult commented post-innings that the team aimed to keep GT under 200, saying,
“Half the job’s done. Hopefully, we can chase this down with the dew factor in play.”
A similar total was defended by RCB against CSK just a day ago—can Gujarat pull off the same?
