Rajputana Biodiesel Limited announced that its subsidiary, Nirvaanraj Energy Private Limited, has received approval from the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) to enhance biodiesel production at its Meerut facility. The Consolidated Consent to Operate and Authorisation allows the company to manufacture up to 80 kilolitres of biodiesel per day.

The approval is valid from March 28, 2025, to July 31, 2029, and has been granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The plant, located in Village Uldeypur, Meerut, is classified under the Orange category and has been cleared for compliance with stringent water, air, and noise pollution norms.

Rajputana Biodiesel stated that the capacity expansion is in line with its strategic focus on increasing renewable energy output and tapping into the growing demand for biofuels across India. With the enhanced production capacity, Nirvaanraj Energy is expected to significantly strengthen its position in the green energy sector.
