Power Mech Projects Limited has announced the receipt of a significant order worth Rs 425 crore from Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Power Limited. The contract involves the execution of civil works and erection of prefabricated structural steel for a large-scale thermal power project in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.

The scope of work includes the main powerhouse, central control building, electrostatic precipitator (ESP), flue-gas desulfurization (FGD) system, limestone handling system, switchyard, and other ancillary works, along with the construction of a raw water reservoir (RWR). The project pertains to the 2×800 MW thermal power units being developed by the Adani Group’s power arm.

As per the company’s official filing, the contract is domestic in nature and is expected to be executed within 30 months from the issuance of the notice to proceed. Power Mech clarified that there is no related party interest involved in the transaction, and it does not fall under related party transactions.

This new order further strengthens Power Mech’s order book and highlights its continued role in large-scale infrastructure and energy sector projects across India.
