Adani Renewable Energy Holding Twelve Limited (AREH12L), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has secured a major renewable energy contract. The company received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) on March 27, 2025, to supply 400 MW of solar power from a grid-connected solar PV project to be set up in Rajasthan.
The contract is priced at a tariff of Rs 2.57 per unit and spans a 25-year duration, further strengthening Adani Green’s foothold in the solar energy sector. According to the company, the LOA is part of the UPPCL tender, and none of the promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority, UPPCL.
This development is in line with Adani Green’s expanding clean energy portfolio, which continues to see strong momentum from government-backed renewable initiatives.
