SEPC Limited has announced that it has received the Final Acceptance Certificates from Steel Authority of India Limited’s Durgapur Steel Plant (SAIL-DSP) for a project valued at Rs 39.78 crore. The project relates to the Coal Dust Injection System in Blast Furnaces No. 3 and 4, originally awarded under Contract Agreement No. PUR/PC/CDI-01828 in 2006.

According to the communication dated March 27, 2025, the final acceptance was issued on March 26, 2025, following the successful completion of the facilities and the defects liability period of twelve months post-commissioning, which concluded on March 25, 2025.

This certification marks the formal closure of the long-running project and signifies that all contractual obligations have been fulfilled to SAIL’s satisfaction.

Meanwhile, the shares of SEPC Ltd were trading at Rs 14.46 on the NSE, up 2.26% from the previous close of Rs 14.14, as of 9:56 AM on March 27, 2025. The intraday range was between Rs 14.00 and Rs 14.53, and the company’s market capitalization stood at Rs 23,040 crore.
